Hi, I’m James Barton.
I'm a professionally trained voice actor and copywriter.
​
I have a deep, resonant natural speaking voice that will arrest your audience's attention - it's ideal for explainer videos, corporate voiceover, audio books and e-learning.
Outside of my natural voice, I love acting and I'm adept at accents, so I'm ready to create a huge range of characters for your video game, audio drama or animation project.
​
I've also worked for over a decade as a copywriter, helping companies with their branding and communication. This overlaps with voice acting - I've written several scripts that I've gone on to voice.
​
I have a degree in Italian and speak it fluently, so I'm happy to voice in this language, and I also offer translation from Italian to English. I can even voice in German and French for consistency across multilingual campaigns.
